On June 5th I was on mid-semester break with some time on my hands, so I decided to do my own 30 day Hot Yoga challenge.
I have been practicing yoga at HYD for about 10 years now and I absolutely love it! I love the studio, the variety of classes, the teachers, and the awesome community that HYD provides.
I completed 30 classes in 16 days, so I aimed for 40 classes. When I reached that in 21 days I thought I'd go for 53 classes, as that's my age! At the end of the 30 days I had completed 56 classes! I felt AMAAAAZIIING!
They were mainly 26/2, Hot Flow, and Inferno Pilates classes, but I balanced these more dynamic classes out with some beautiful Yin classes also.
At the end of the 30 days my yoga practice had improved, my strength had increased, my muscles were more toned and my focus and clarity of mind felt incredible!!!
The consistency, dedication, perseverance and energy that my 30 day challenge required was totally worth it!!!!
HYD is my second home and I cannot imagine my life without it! I am immensely grateful that we have this amazing yoga studio in our community.
