I started my yoga journey a decade ago in my mid-forties with a 90-minute 26/2 class at Hot Yoga Dunedin, and I was instantly hooked. Yoga has greatly enhanced my mind, body, and soul, helping me remain a fit, active, and healthy mother of four and grandma of six. Eager to share my passion, I trained as a Kids' Yoga teacher in 2018 and launched Blissful Souls Yoga, offering classes for ECE centres, schools, and the community, including Kids', Teens', and Family Yoga. I then completed my YTT200 at Kawai Purapura in Auckland and began teaching adult community classes and leading Disconnect To Reconnect retreats in Otago. After Covid, I pursued Primary School Teacher training, which I will complete in December 2024, bringing the benefits of yoga into the classroom. I am a firm believer that yoga is for all ages, ability, mobility and experience. For over 10 years, Hot Yoga Dunedin has felt like home, and I am now honored to guide yin yoga there. I look forward to seeing you in the studio, where I offer gentle, restorative yin yoga, focusing on the connection between breath, thoughts, and body, embodying the idea that yoga is a journey of self, through self, to self (Bhagavad Gita).
